My father referred me to Max when my previous tax service ghosted me. I came away impressed. Very professional and knowledgeable. I'm planning on returning next year and beyond.

My tax attorney retired so I was looking for someone new to file our tax return. I found Paramount Tax on google reviews and decided to give them a shot. I called first to ask some questions and Max was very knowledgeable and answered any questions that I had. After speaking with him, I created an appointment online and got an upload link sent to my email shortly after. I uploaded all of our tax documents about a week prior to my appointment. Max text me the day before to let me know he completed the return and confirmed our appointment. During the appointment, Max had everything completed and was very organized. His office was clean and well kept. After going over the tax return, I felt very confident in his knowledge and abilities. He electronically submitted the return and I was on my way. A VERY easy process with the upmost professionalism. Thanks Max!!

Max was extremely knowledgeable. He was able to explain tax laws and rules that stumped the other accountants I spoke with. He was very responsive and patient with all my email questions. His fee was lower than others, even the out-of-state accountants. I was stressed out by my tax situation this year but Max made me feel confident through the process. He worked out a much better final amount than I expected. Highly recommended.

Max helped me out with my personal taxes this year, following me moving across different states! He was thorough and was able to complete everything within an hour, in what would've taken me several hours. One thing I wish they had their site was pricing. I didn't see it in any of the reviews which is why I'm typing my review. I was told on average this service costs $400-$700, depending on what you're filing. I wasn't aware of this until I asked about it. However, this does include access to a group for a year (maybe more, I don't remember) who will protect you if something goes south with your taxes. The other thing is that it was estimated that I owed a substantial amount of money for taxes, and when I asked for an explanation, Max noticed he missed a step and I owed about 15% of what was initially quoted. Which I also appreciate his openness to double-checking and quickly resolving issues. Overall, Max is a really great guy and will efficiently get your taxes done! Be sure to ask questions and know you're responsible for your own taxes - just saying, you're going to get the best if you ask away. Max is great at explaining things and it doesn't seem to burden him. If you're okay with spending that much money to relieve anxiety and pressure around taxes, I highly recommend him. Depending where I'm at next year, I'll probably go back and see him again! The four stars is mainly because of the lack of price transparency before going into the appointment.

This was my first year utilizing Paramount for tax preparation. I was very impressed with the agent, Max Warford, and the efficiency with which he handled my taxes. By my being able to email him copies of most of the important documents ahead of time, when I came in for my visit, we were able to finish the entire process in one sitting, and as I was entitled to refunds, to submit those requests online and have them acknowledged on the spot. This was very, very efficient, and I will definitely be back next year.
